Can I update what call recipients see (caller ID)?

Incorrect Caller ID

Caller ID name information is updated regularly in our systems. However, if your caller ID still appears incorrectly, your recipients would need to contact their cellular provider and request an update to their database.

If your caller ID is showing incorrect information, we recommend disabling caller ID entirely. To disable caller ID, complete these steps: 

On Android:

1. Open your phone’s Settings.

2. Tap Phone (this may also be called Calling Settings or similar)

3. Tap Caller ID and toggle it OFF.

Note: If the settings are greyed out and cannot be changed, your network does not allow caller ID to be turned off.

On iPhone:

1. Open your phone’s Settings.

2. Tap Phone.

3. Toggle Show My Caller ID OFF.

Note: If the setting is missing or cannot be changed, your network determines this feature and it cannot be disabled.
