How to Program a CDMA Device
To Program your CDMA LTE phone simply insert the SIM card and power it on.
You will need to place your first outbound call to complete activation. You will be asked to choose your preferred IVR language and your call will connect.
OTA Programming (3G / NOT LTE )
All CDMA devices require Over the Air Programming (OTA) following activation or successful port-in.
1. Dial *22890 (Activation) if this does not work,
2. Dial *228 (Activation) if this does not work,
3. Dial *22891 (PRL Update)
If opening the normal dialer on your phone is unsuccessful, go to Emergency Dialer and dial *#83786633
Note: if either *228 or *22890 fail, you will hear an automated recording saying that "Over the Air Program was Unsuccessful."
Once you have dialed and reached OTA Programming. You will hear the following prompt:
“Welcome to Over the Air Programming. Please hold while we program your phone. This call is Airtime Free.”
Once programming has completed, device will reboot.
