What is a 5 G-compatible phone?
A 5G compatible device is a smartphone that supports the fifth generation (5G) of cellular network technology.
5G offers significantly faster speeds than 4G, which can be necessary for tasks like streaming video, downloading large files, and gaming. 5G phones also have lower latency, meaning there is less lag between when you send a command and when it is executed.
If your phone is 5G compatible, you can just look for the 5G logo on the phone's packaging or in the phone's settings. You can also check the phone's manufacturer's website to see if it is listed as a 5G phone.
Here are some of the latest 5 G-compatible phones:

Here are some additional things to remember when buying a 5G phone:
Not all 5G phones are created equal. Some phones support only sub-6GHz 5G, which is slower than mmWave 5G. If you want to get the fastest possible speeds, choose a phone that supports mmWave 5G.
5G networks are still in their early stages of development, so only some areas have 5G coverage. If you plan on using your phone in a rural area, check the 5G coverage map for your carrier to see if there is 5G coverage.
Remember that Red Pocket supports BOTH 5G and 4G compatible phones. Plans that offer allotted 5G speeds, will automatically default to 4G speeds after the allotment is reached.
5G phones are typically more expensive than 4G phones. If you are on a budget, consider buying a 4G phone instead of a 5G phone.
Is 5G offered everywhere?
5G still needs to be offered everywhere. 5G networks are still in their early stages of development, and coverage is limited to certain areas. In America, 5G coverage is available in most major cities but not all rural areas.

Do I Need a SIM Card to Access 5G High-speeds?
Generally, you do need a SIM card to access 5G. A SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small chip that stores your phone number, account information, and other personal data. It is required to connect to a cellular network.
However, some 5G phones do not require a SIM card. These phones use eSIM technology, which allows you to store your phone number and account information directly on the phone's chip. This means that you can use the phone without a physical SIM card.
If a 5G phone requires a SIM card, you must contact your carrier to get a new SIM card. The SIM card will need to be compatible with 5G.
If you have a 5G phone that uses eSIM technology, you must activate your eSIM. This can be done online on Red Pocket's Activation page or by calling customer service.
Once you have a SIM card or have activated the eSIM, you can connect to 5G networks.
