If you notice that your caller ID is showing incorrect information, we recommend that you disable caller ID entirely.
Caller ID name data is updated in our underlying systems regularly. Unfortunately, if your caller ID is still appearing incorrectly, your recipients would need to contact their cellular provider and request they update their database.
If you would like to disable caller ID, please complete the following steps:
On Android
- Tap on your phone's Settings.
- Tap on Phone.
Note: This may also be called Calling Settings or something similar, depending on your device type. - Tap on Caller ID to toggle it from ON to OFF.
If these settings are grey and you are unable to tap on them, unfortunately, this means you are unable to turn caller ID off. These settings are determined by the network you are using.
On iPhone
Step 1: Tap on your phone's Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Phone.
Step 3: Toggle the Caller ID setting from ON to OFF.
