Mailed a replacement GSMT SIM
RedPocket has upgraded the network for your GSMT SIM. If you activated your SIM or eSIM before November 2025, a new replacement SIM card was delivered to you by mail, or a replacement eSIM was delivered by email.
If you don’t see it, contact us with your GSMT line’s phone number, and we’ll provide a no-cost replacement.
What is the difference with this update?
With this update, your GSMT line will benefit from enhanced speeds and advanced network technology. Don't worry, you can continue to use the same device you've always had with your new GSMT SIM.
The following items will NOT change:
- Your phone number
- The device(s) you can use with your plan
- Your plan price and data amount
- The add-ons available to you
Is anything else changing?
The code you text to check your balances is changing. With your new SIM, text Bal or Balance to 1119.
How do I get a replacement so I can switch to the new SIM?
If you were using a physical SIM card, you were mailed a replacement SIM. If you were using an eSIM, you were emailed a new eSIM.
If you have not yet received a replacement SIM, our customer support team can provide you with one at no cost. Please visit redpocket.com/contact-us and have your GSMT line’s phone number and mailing address available (if you need a physical SIM card).
Can I switch the SIM type (physical SIM / eSIM) that I’m using?
For the SIM upgrade, we will only deliver a no-cost replacement of the same type. However, you can switch the SIM type you are using at any time using the online SIM swap process. There will be a charge for this replacement SIM.
Note: If you’d like to switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM, first make sure to check that your phone works with eSIM. Read this article see if your phone is compatible.
To switch your SIM type, log in to your account at redpocket.com/my-lines and complete the following steps:
- Select your line.
- Go to the Line Summary section.
- Choose “Replace my SIM or eSIM.”
- Select the SIM type you’d like to use.
Follow the steps to complete your request.
