Pairing your Apple Watch to your RedPocket Mobile iPhone line

Can I use my own Apple Watch with your service?

Yes! We’re excited to announce that customers on the GSMA network can now bring their own Apple Watch and pair it with their existing phone line.

This feature is completely FREE and currently available only for customers on our Elite Monthly and Elite Annual Plans.

Note: Please note that only one iPhone can be paired with an Apple Watch at a time. Make sure your line is on an Elite Monthly or Elite Annual Plan, and that your account is active and in good standing. This feature is only supported on the GSMA network. Other networks are not eligible at this time.

Coming soon: Apple Watch pairing will be available on all GSMA plans with the purchase of an Apple Watch plan, so stay tuned!

Is my Apple Watch compatible?

If your Apple Watch is compatible with your iPhone, it can be used with RedPocket. Keep in mind that some Apple Watches only work with certain iPhone models.

To use Apple Watch pairing with RedPocket, your iPhone must be running iOS 18.5 or later.

Apple provides a full compatibility chart to help you check which Apple Watches work with your iPhone. You can view it here: Apple Watch and iPhone Compatibility

How to pair my Apple Watch

Pair your watch with your RedPocket Mobile wireless plan and manage your notifications, calls, and apps with more convenience and portability. The pairing process creates a secure, encrypted link between your Watch and your iPhone.

  1. Bring the Apple Watch near your iPhone. The iPhone should automatically detect the Apple Watch and display the pairing screen.
  2. Tap "Continue" on the iPhone. This will open the Apple Watch setup process.
  3. Follow the onscreen prompts.
  4. Pairing will begin.

What to do if the watch is not automatically detected?

  1. If automatic pairing fails, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap "All Watches," and then tap "Add Watch".
  2. Choose "Set Up for Myself", if this is your first Apple Watch, or select "Restore from Backup" if you have a previous backup.
  3. Follow the prompts on both the iPhone and Apple Watch. This includes setting up features like wrist detection and reviewing terms and conditions.

What do I do if the watch pairing process fails?

  1. First, make sure your line is on an Elite Monthly or Elite Annual Plan, and that your account is active and in good standing.
  2. If you're on the right plan, close out of the Apple Watch setup screen (also called the pairing screen), and try the pairing process again from the beginning.
  3. If it still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support team. Be ready to provide your RedPocket phone number and Apple Watch IMEI so we can help troubleshoot your issue.
