Roaming Credit
International roaming is included with RedPocket Mobile GSMA plans. Roaming is not available on CDMA and GSMT plans at this time.
The Essentials, Plus, and Premium plans include roaming in over 60 countries, with each plan offering a set amount of roaming minutes, text messages, and data. If you need access to additional countries or more roaming minutes, texts, or data, you can add roaming credit to your line.
How to add credit
To add roaming credit to your line, visit the Roaming tab in your account. From there, you can select a Roaming Add-on or add $10, $25, or $50 in roaming credit using the "Add Credit" widget.
- Select your line.
- Click Roaming.
- In the "Add Credit" section, select one of the roaming amounts.
- Click Add Credit.
- Submit payment for the credit.
Please allow up to 15 minutes for your purchased credit to apply to your account. You can also go to the Add-Ons tab and select "Roaming Add-ons" from there.
Credit can be used for calling, texting, and data usage. To see how far your credit will go, you can use the “See rates” link on the Roaming tab. You can also go to redpocket.com/roaming-rates.
Credit expires after your plan renews and new balances are added. We recommend using all of your roaming credit before your plan cycle ends.
How to use credit
If you are roaming in a country that is included within your plan, credit will not be used until your included roaming balances are exhausted.
If you are roaming in a country that is not included, credit will be used and your included roaming balances won't be.
Credit is deducted from your account as you use your device, based on the country's rates.
Visit redpocket.com/roaming-rates to see your destination country's per minute, per text, and per GB data rate.
How to roam
To roam, first select your destination country and enable roaming on your online account. Then, enable roaming on your device. Both must be done before you begin your travels.
Important: International roaming refers to using your phone in countries outside of the United States. It does not include domestic partner network coverage provided by the underlying carrier in rural or low-coverage areas within the U.S.
