Red Pocket Mobile offers service on your choice of any major US network, which means that nearly any phone in the US can be used with our services!
Compatible devices based on networks
CDMAS: Bring your own Sprint LTE or 3G device and activate it directly on our website. This network works with most CDMA unlocked devices as well, when you select a CDMAS SIM card.
CDMA: This network works with most Verizon-compatible LTE devices and GSM unlocked devices.
GSMA: This network works with most AT&T-compatible, GSM unlocked and CDMA LTE unlocked devices. This network provides 5G speeds on compatible Android and iPhone devices.
GSMT: This network works with most T-Mobile-compatible, GSM unlocked and CDMA LTE unlocked devices. This network provides 5G speeds on compatible Android phones only.
Only VoLTE compatible phones can be activated on this network. If your phone is not VoLTE compatible, don't worry! You can activate your phone on our GSMA network and get even better coverage.
To enable VoLTE on your phone, Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE and select Voice & Data. Some older devices may not be compatible with VoLTE.

Still not sure if your device is compatible with one of our networks?
Devices that are compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile are generally GSM devices and devices that are compatible with Sprint or Verizon are generally CDMA devices. Some devices -- like newer unlocked iPhones -- are compatible with all networks as they support both GSM and CDMA.
What devices will NOT work with this service?
Even though we work with all different types of devices, some exclusions apply. These include:
- Locked Tracfone devices
- Boost/Virgin Mobile Branded devices
- Devices reported lost or stolen
- Devices reported for fraud
Devices under an existing contract with another carrier or if funds are still owed to your old carrier so they block the use of your phone with us.
