Can I get a new number from RedPocket?

If you're activating a brand new phone line, and you need a new number, RedPocket mobile can help.

To start, purchase your preferred talk, text, and data plan from redpocket.com

  1. After receiving your SIM card -- in the mail when you buy a physical SIM, or by email when you purchase eSIM -- visit redpocket.com/activate
  2. In the activation process, you'll have the opportunity to get a new number, or bring over a phone number you already own from another wireless carriers.
  3. When you choose the "Get a new number" option, you'll need to enter your Service Zip Code.

Your Service Zip Code is used to generate your area code and a number within that area code will be automatically assigned to you.

That's it! After activate, complete the setup steps to install your SIM card and make your first call.

What phone numbers are available?

You can obtain a new wireless number from all over the country --  from Hawaii to New York. When prompted, enter the ZIP code of the region from where you would like your new number, into the Service Zip Code field.

If your desired zip code isn't available, try using a zip code from the closest large city. We normally have the greatest amounts of telephone numbers in the bigger cities.

If I get a new number, can I later transfer a number from another carrier?

Once a phone number has been set for your RedPocket mobile account, you'll need to start with a new line if you want to transfer over a different phone number from another carrier. Contact our support team for help if you need to transfer a number.
