Changing or replacing your line's SIM

To replace the SIM that is currently associated with your line, start by logging in at redpocket.com/my-lines.

  1. Select your line.
  2. Scroll down and click on Line Summary.
  3. Click Replace the SIM or eSIM.
  4. You'll see four different replacement options:
    • Purchase a new eSIM
    • Purchase a new physical SIM
    • Switch to a physical SIM I own
    • Switch to an eSIM I own

 

Purchase a new eSIM

Choose this option to replace your line's SIM if you have not yet purchased or received a replacement eSIM. Checkout and then return to the Summary tab when you are finished to apply the new SIM to your line. 


Purchase a new physical SIM

Choose this option to replace your line's SIM if you have not yet purchased or received a replacement SIM card. Checkout and then wait for your SIM card to arrive in the mail.

Once you receive it, return to the Summary tab to apply your new SIM card to your line. 


Switch to a physical SIM I own

Select this option if you have already purchased and received a RedPocket Mobile SIM card that needs to be inserted into your device. This includes SIMs purchased from RedPocket or official third party retailers.

Note: Any pre-loaded plan associated with the SIM will be forfeited once the SIM is applied to an existing account.

  1. Enter your Confirmation Code or the SIM card's ICCID number to apply the SIM to your line.

  2. Confirm your identity by entering the PIN code we send you.

  3. Your new SIM card will be applied.

  4. Discard your old SIM card.

  5. Insert your new SIM card into your device.

  6. Your phone should receive a connection within 15 minutes, you'll get a text message once your new connection is ready.

    Note: If you do not receive the confirmation text after 15 minutes, follow APN configuration steps to ensure proper connectivity. For detailed instructions on setting up your APN, please visit redpocket.com/configure.

 
Switch to an eSIM I own

Select this option if you have already purchased and received a RedPocket Mobile eSIM.

Note: Any pre-loaded plan associated with the SIM will be forfeited once the SIM is applied to an existing account.

  1. Enter your Confirmation Code to apply the SIM to your line.

  2. Confirm your identity by entering the PIN code sent to you.

  3. Your new SIM will be assigned.

    Note: Your old eSIM will be disabled by default but it might not be removed from your phone. Remove the old eSIM from your phone if you need the space. 
  4. Now, follow the steps to install the eSIM onto your device—scanning the QR code that's provided.
