What is a confirmation code and how do I find it?

Your confirmation code is used to activate your wireless plan. It contains your plan and order details. You'll receive a confirmation code after you purchase a plan from redpocket.com and you'll enter it on the activation page when you're ready to start service. Your confirmation code is delivered to you by email. 

This is important! Plans expire after 90 days. Activate your plan within 90 days after your order.

  • For eSIM: Your confirmation code is sent to you after you place your order. It will be located in your "Welcome to RedPocket Mobile!" order receipt email. 

  • For Physical SIMs: You'll get a confirmation code after your order ships. It will be located in your "Your RedPocket Order Has Shipped" tracking email.

What is a Confirmation Code?

After you order a RedPocket wireless plan, you'll receive a confirmation code. Enter this code at redpocket.com/activate to activate your service.  

What is an Activation PIN?

Activation PINs are provided after you purchase a RedPocket plan on eBay. You can enter the PIN during activation to apply the eBay plan to a new line, or enter it in the PIN Code field of your existing account to apply the plan to an existing line.

What is an eSIM Activation Code?

RedPocket provides you with your eSIM activation code as a QR code or an alphanumeric string (SM-DP+ address) after activation is completed. It is used to download and install your eSIM after your plan is activated. If you’re unable to scan the QR code, you can manually enter the activation code in your phone’s SIM manager to add the eSIM.

What is a Number Transfer PIN?

Your number transfer PIN is issued by your previous carrier when you choose to switch to RedPocket. During activation, when you select “Transfer a number”, you'll enter your account number and number transfer PIN from your old carrier to complete the process.

 

Orders without a confirmation code

You will not receive a confirmation code for the following orders:

  • Device-only purchases: If you purchase an iPhone or Android device using the Buy Now Unlocked option without a plan, no confirmation code will be issued.

  • Accessory purchases: Confirmation codes are not provided for accessories, such as Apple AirPods.

  • eBay plan purchases: Instead of a confirmation code, you’ll receive an activation PIN for plans purchased through eBay.
