Transfer Your Number to Another Carrier

You'll need your account number and PIN to transfer your number to another wireless carrier. You'll also want to check the zip code on your profile, as your new carrier may need that information.

 

Here are the steps you'll need to take.

  1. Log into your online account to gather your information.
  2. Click Port Management to get started.

  3. Disable the Port Blocker.

    Important:
    We have a Port Blocker in place to keep your account safe. Make sure to turn the Port Blocker OFF before you start the port-out process. You can also contact us to have the blocker turned off prior to sharing your number transfer details with your new wireless carrier.

  4. In the Transfer Number dropdown, select the "To another wireless carrier" option.
  5. Complete the steps in the popup that appears to get your number transfer account number and PIN.

Please remember that you must complete the number transfer process before you cancel your RedPocket Mobile account. If you cancel your RedPocket Mobile account first, your number may be lost! 

 

Here's a summary of the process:

  1. Log in online or contact us to turn your Port Out blocker OFF. 
  2. Log in online or contact us to get your Account Number, Transfer PIN, and Profile Zip Code.
  3. Keep your account active until your transfer is complete. 
  4. Contact your new wireless carrier and share your number transfer details. 
  5. Contact us once the number transfer is complete to have your RedPocket Mobile account closed.
