Transfer Your Number to Another Carrier

You'll need your account number and PIN to transfer your number from RedPocket Mobile to another wireless carrier. You'll also want to check the zip code on your profile as your new carrier may need that information as well.

Login to your online account to gather your transfer Account ID number and PIN code. Click Port Management to get started. 

Porting

Important: A popup blocker is in place to keep your account safe. Make sure to turn your Port Blocker OFF before you start the port in process. Disable this blocker online or contact us to have the blocker turned off prior to sharing your number transfer details with your new wireless carrier.

You can also get in touch with us to request and receive your account number and PIN. RedPocket Mobile customer service representatives are available by phone, email, and chat. 

Sometimes wireless carriers display an account number online specifically for account management or record-keeping purposes and will not help you transfer your phone number.

If you're looking for your number transfer account number and PIN, it's a good idea to speak directly to your wireless carrier's number transfer department for accurate information. 

Please remember that you must complete the number transfer process before you cancel your RedPocket Mobile account. If you cancel your RedPocket Mobile account first, your number may be lost! 

 

Heres a summary of the process:

  1. Login online or contact us to turn your Port Out blocker OFF. 
  2. Login online or contact us to get your Account Number, Transfer PIN, and Profile Zip Code.
  3. Keep your account active until your transfer is complete. 
  4. Contact your new wireless carrier and share your number transfer details. 
  5. Contact us once the number transfer is complete, to have your RedPocket Mobile account closed.
