Block Numbers on your Red Pocket Mobile line (texts and calls)

There are many steps you can take to prevent SPAM, SCAM or unwanted incoming calls. If you are receiving a lot of unwanted calls, consider the following suggestions.

Note: Newer iPhones (iOS 17.0+) and Android phones come with a feature that automatically deletes OTP or Short Code text messages for you, after 24 hours.
While this does not prevent incoming texts, it allows you to keep your text message inbox clean of scam, spam and/or marketing messages by deleting them for you. Read our article to learn more.

Block numbers as they come in

When you receive a call from a phone number, that you have identified as SPAM, hang up and block that number. On android devices, to block a caller, tap on your phone’s dialing application and then tap on the Recent Calls section. Tap on Menu or Info, next to the number you want to block.

The steps for some android phones may differ from the instructions we offer in this article. If you are having trouble finding the “Block Number” setting, complete a Google search for your phone type and the phrase “How to Block a Number”.
