      Are phone hotspot services included with RedPocket plans

      Yes, phone hotspot is available with RedPocket plans. Phone hotspot or tethering — using your phone as a WiFi hotspot — is a supported feature on our most popular plans! Device compatibility varies by network.

      • Get 20GB of fast hotspot data on our $40 Unlimited Everything plan.

      Which RedPocket Networks Support Phone Hotspot?

      • CDMA: Phone hotspot is supported on most iOS devices. Android is unavailable at this time. 
      • GSMA: Phone hotspot is supported on most Android and iOS Devices.
      • GSMT: Phone hotspot is supported on most Android and iOS Devices.

      Note: Not all models support phone hotspots. Check your phone manufacturer's user guide. 

      Enable Phone Hotspot on iPhones: 

      1. Open up your phone's Settings application and tap on Personal Hotspot.
      2. Then, toggle the hotspot setting to the on position.
      3. Tap on WiFi Password to manage the WiFi hotspot's network name and password. 

      Enable Phone Hotspot on Google Phones:

      1. Open up your phone's settings and tap on More.
      2. Then tap on Hotspot & Tethering.
      3. Finally, tap the WiFi Hotspot. You can view and edit the WiFi hotspot's network name and password. 

      Enable Phone Hotspot on other Android Phones:

      1. Open up your phone's Settings application.
      2. Tap on Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
      3. Tap on Mobile Hotspot.
      4. You can edit the WiFi hotspot's network name and password.
